IDASA and the Automation Forum
Ingeniería de Aplicaciones has become a member of the General Committee of the Automation Forum ("Forum de la Automática" in Spanish). IDASA, by means of its managing director, Miquel Seriola, will be present in the organization of the Forum, which consists of a set of events that will be take place at the end of March, 2006.
Ingeniería de Aplicaciones, S.A. has decided to be involved in the organization of an event that is closely related to its policy of continuous innovation. The Automation Forum consists of a set of parallel events (around 25 to 30) throughout 3 days (March 29th, 30th and 31st, 2006). Within the framework established by the General Commitee (of which IDASA is a member) and several specific committees of each field, the topics will be chosen by the persons who are expected to attend the event, by means of a survey carried out by the collaborating institutions that accepted to support the event. The organization will take charge of locating the best speakers for each conference. The speeches will be previously examined by other specialists in the same field to verify that they match the general guidelines on which the Forum is based. The chosen topics will be specially sensitive from the social and emotional point of view. These speeches, without losing - and having as their main objective – its technical and practical character, should provide wider complementary approaches (now they are called "innovator approaches"). This " Great Meeting Point to reach Technological Excellence" will involve, in a specially active way, mass media. Not only specialized media but also, economy media and those which are addressed to the general public: press, radio and television. A topic with special importance is that of TECNOKIOTO, which tries to contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gases and the fulfillment of the objectives established in Kyoto protocol.
