The Pick-up sponsored by IDASA finished the season

The Nissan Pick-up sponsored by Ingenieria de Aplicaciones, S.A. run the last race of the season on last November (19th and 20th). The team is very satisfied and happy with the general results achieved over the year. Anyway, they hope to achieve better results and thus be more competitive during next season.

The Pick-up participated in 6 raids altogether over 2005. Of these raids, it finished 2, one raid was cancelled, and it was not able to finish the remaining 3 raids due to technical problems. In the first one, the Raid of Catalonia (01/04/05), despite the hard conditions of the rough race, drivers managed to finish the three laps over the 130 km circuit. After this raid, the next two were not so successful. One of them was the Raid of Ciudad de Linares (17/06/05), where the Pick-up had an accident in a turn of the track, distorting the bodywork of the car and rendering useless the radiator. Then, the Raid of Baja Espanya (22/07/05), which drivers were unable to finish due to technical problems concerning the engine. The following two raids took place outside the national territory. The first one was the TT Raid of Melilla (17/09/05), which was postponed due to bureaucratic problems and drivers were only able to perform a show organized in order to satisfy the audience that had come there to see the race. The second Raid in foreign land, and the penultimate raid of the season, was the Raid of Portalegre (22/10/05), where the engine of the car stopped while crossing a river after driving during many kilometers in very bad weather conditions. It was a pity that they had to retire when there were only 30 kilometers left to finish the Raid. Even so, the drivers were satisfied with the performance of both the team and the NISSAN pick-up. The last Raid, that of Montes de Cuenca (20/11/05), showed great promise for the new season, as the pick-up managed to finish the race setting a fast time, which encourages the team and sponsors to approach the new season with much hope and optimism.
