Hotmeld Application

Idasa has developed a automated equipment for the hotmeld application into the automotive industry: a claw designed specially to be incorporated into a robot to apply four different types of hotmeld to a carpet for the floor in the car industry. The robot automatically selects the right program for each case depending on the type of carpet. The advantage of this application is the multi-claw incorporated into the robot. A special multifunctional claw has been installed in the robot's wrist that can apply four different types of adhesive at the same time to hold the extra piece to be stuck on to each carpet.
