SMS Folientechnick research laboratory

Ingeniería de Aplicaciones S.A. (IDASA) is already running the research laboratory of SMS Folientechnick in Viena, Europe. The unit consist of a loading and unloading system for plastic extrusion coils and also the robotic palletising system for them.

SMS Folientechnick is the manufacturer of Battenfeld and leads world-wide the manufacturation of extrusion equipment. IDASA has been in charge of the design, development and implementation of the loading and unloading system in the Cast 2020 project, the fastest extruded film manufacturation machine of the world and able to make even coils of 600mm diamenter.
