Graduation of the ninth promotion of E.U.S.S.

Last Thursday 16th March it took place the graduation act of the ninth promotion of Industrial Technicians Engineers of Electronics and Electricity, and the second promotion of the master in computing, both attended in Escuela Universitaria Salesiana de Sarria.

In Ingeniería de Aplicaciones, S.A. we think that the constant collaboration between companies and universities is very important for the development of the industry, the economy and the society in general. For this reason the Escuela Universitaria Salesiana de Sarrià (EUSS) and Ingeniería de Aplicaciones, S.A. (IDASA) believe firmly in its relationship, and they consider it as an important part of its strategies and plans for the future. The university can give in this way a better and more complete training to the future engineers, because it has a direct contract with the industrial world, while IDASA can inform to the young engineers about its projects, achieving in this way the dynamism, enthusiasm, ideas and, why not, the wish to carry out interesting and complex projects on research an development of first level. For this reason IDASA wishes to welcome the new promotion of engineers who have just left the university, who were graduated last 16th March at the brilliant ceremony of graduation implemented some years ago.
Before the beginning of the formal acts, and as it is traditional, the students were awarded with the badge corresponding to ex-students of the university. During the graduation ceremony some personalities participated, such as Dr. Carles Rubio, director of the school, Mr. Joan Ribó i Casaus, dean of the Colegio de Ingenieros Técnicos Industriales de Barcelona (CETIB), who is the godfather of the promotion. The diplomas were distributed later along with the class graduation trimming and there was also a musical performance, followed by the speech of the president of the foundation Rinaldi, Mr. Jesús Orlando, and Mr. Antoni Méndez, vice-chancellor of studies and quality of the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (UAB).
