IDASA in AUTOMATICA 2006

Two months before opening its doors on 16th -19th May 2006 at the New Munich Trade Fair Center, more than 760 companies from 38 countries have already registered in AUTOMATICA 2006. A third of these companies will exhibit its Produits for the first time in the international monographic trade fair of robotics and automation, mainly focused on assembling and manipulation techniques, robotics and industrial image processing, and other technologies.

One of the companies exhibiting its Produits for the first time is IDASA-Jenoptik. The group will show its new laser cutting machine VOTAN-C BIM in the trade show. The Votan-C is a laser cutting robot cell developed using the latest techologies in the market, among which stands out the new laser transmission system that allows to improve, among other aspects, the work area, the speed of the robot movements or the programmation (much simpler and user-friendly than other versions'). IDASA invites you to come and see the launch in the market of the new machine so that you can judge for yourselves the properties and features of this new cutting system in AUTOMATICA Trade Show from 16th to 19th May. AUTOMATICA is an international monographic trade fair that acts as an umbrella for all segments of robotics and automation. It has been held since 2004 every two years in the new Munich Trade Fair Center and is an effective and efficient marketing platform for the sectors of: robotics, assembling and manipulation techniques, industrial imaging processing and other related technologies. The purpose of the trade fair is to represent the whole value creation chain. Behind the industrial scope of AUTOMATICA are the Messe München GmbH and the Professional Association of Robotics and Automation VDMA, sponsor of the trade fair. The amount of visitors and exhibitors of AUTOMATICA München are revised by an impartial auditor contracted by the trade fair society aimed at the voluntary control of trade fairs and exhibitions' data (KFM). A surface area of more than 30.000 net square meters has been reserved for exhibition purposes. Consequently, AUTOMATICA 2006 will be divided in five pavilions, distributed according to the main topics of AUTOMATICA: The greatest segment, from the amount of exhibitor's point of view, is comprised by the assembling and manipulation techniques. Then, there is a section for robotics companies, as well as companies devoted to driving techniques, industrial image processing, sense systems, control techniques, energy supply, security techniques, software, etc. and all this together with the section aimed at science and research (with renowed participants such as the German Center of Aeronautics and Astronautics (DLR) and the Fraunhofer Institute of Production and Automation Techniques (IPA)). A specially relevant factor for the success of AUTOMATICA is the source of international participators, as there are exhibitors coming from the five continents and it it is expected that official pavilions for Italy, USA and Luxemburg are set up. Whether you are a big corporate group or a go-ahead Compagnie, AUTOMATICA is an event that concerns everybody. The trade fair, which is held in the heart of the greatest European market of robotics and automation, brings togehter demand and supply worldwide and is specially aimed at robotics and automation users and developers, from the corporate group of huge dimensions, to the medium-sized business and young entrepreneurs. Automation is a key subjet for almost all sectors, whether the automative industry (OEM / suppliers), the industry of machine manufacturing and installation, metal processing industry, electrotechnics and electronics, the pharmaceutics and medical industry, the feed supply indunstry, or the packaging, packing and plastics industry: the fields of application are very diverse. And they are constantly expanding . The main feature of AUTOMATICA is the clear offer structure, which has been closely developed with the robotics and automation industry and has been improved for 2006 edition. The key technologies that make up the main sections are assembling and manipulation techniques, robotics and industrial image processing. The corresponding technologies are divided in the following sections: positioning system, driving techniques, sense systems, control techniques, security techniques, supply techniques, software, services and service providers, as well as research and technology.
