The peak of the automobile industry in Brazil will facilitate the consolidation of IDASA in Latin America.

The visit that the Management of IDASA has carried out recently to Brazil, confirms the good rhythm of growth that the automobile industry is experimenting in the South American country. Recently, several European companies have awarded the construction of six new vehicles in the area of Sao Paulo. This new situation will allow to PROBE, the subsidiary of IDASA in Brazil, to increase its presence in that country, covering the demand of technology that these new companies will generate in the zone.

Until now, IDASA has supplied in Latin America 14 lines and special machines for assembly, cutting, fitted carpet moulding, waterjet lines, laser micro drilling, ultrasounds welding and other equipments.

The increasing stability of the car industry, as well as the trust that the great marks have placed in Brazil and Argentina, will benefit the consolidation of the strategy followed by IDASA in the bet on the South American market.

The new challenge of IDASA will be to introduce the new technologies in programming off-line of automated cells laser cut and waterjet. The laser cut technology is at the peak all-over Mercosur, since the generalized strategy in the last year about comparing the salaries of the personnel, is accentuating the necessity of automation of the productive processes by means of robots and automatic machinery for manufacture, control, palletized and transport of Produits.

Although the wage costs begin to be high, the main car manufacturers must keep the quality level required in Europe. The revolution of the technologies of the information and communication (TIC), the globalization and the peak of the air companies of low cost, make that every time is easier to manufacture the same Produits with the same quality in any place of the world.

One can still remember when the big car companies manufactured models in Latin America with a different technology, far below to the one used in Europe. At the present time, the manufacturers of models in France, Germany, Spain or Italy, produce the same vehicle (with some variations) in Brazil and Argentina for the whole MERCOSUR, even they manufacture exclusive models that they export to North America and Europe.
